The 2023 IEEE Transportation Electrification Conference and Expo, Asia-Pacific (ITEC Asia-Pacific 2023) will be held in Chiang-Mai, Thailand, from 28 November to 1 December 2023. The conference is part of the global IEEE ITEC conference series which aims to provide a forum for sharing knowledge, experience, and ideas in recent advances in areas related to power-electronics electromobility technologies and electrification. This international conference is co-sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society, the IEEE Power Electronics Society, the IEEE Power and Energy Society, and the IEEE Transportation Electrification Community.
In 2023 we are holding an Industry Track focused on developments that impact practicing engineers working in industry. This call for industry presentations targets those working in areas related to “recent advances in power-electronics electromobility technologies and electrification” with one of three key themes:
- Industry Practices
- Case Studies
- Lessons Learned
Industry presenters will be asked to give a 30-minute presentation, followed by 10 minutes reserved for questions, with acceptance based on abstract submission, without requiring a full-technical paper. The submitted abstract will be listed in the conference record, but the presentation materials will not be published in the conference record or on IEEE Xplore. Presentations should be focused on the technical aspects; purely promotional submissions will be rejected.
Submission Requirements
Prospective presenters are requested to submit a short abstract of no more than five hundred (500) words, using the link above. On the submission menu, please select “Industry Presentations”, enter your abstract in the text box as well as uploading the abstract in PDF format in the digest upload menu. On the first page, please check the box “Papers (a final version) must be compatible with IEEE Xplore format” to proceed, but you can safely ignore it. The abstract should briefly explain:
- which of the three key themes are being addressed (Industry Practices, Lessons Learned or Case Studies),
- how the proposed topic fits within the technical topic of IEEE ITEC-AP 2023,
- the importance / objectives of the work
